KERRY PATTERSON

Head of Operations

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Pizza; the most delicious food I’ve ever tasted, regardless of however bad for me it is!
If you were an animal, which would you be, and why?
An Eagle; who doesn’t want to fly, for goodness sake…and it’s the consummate symbol of Strength, Freedom and Patriotism.
What’s your best travel story?
Not my “best” but my most memorable!!  I was somehow allowed to board the incorrect plane / flight to the incorrect destination airport when flying into Washington DC for UPS Leadership Training (a “Prior Life” employer in early 2000).  Much to my dismay upon departure, they scanned my boarding pass, didn’t identify that I was on the incorrect flight, and I sat in my assigned Row / Seat that was never attempted to be occupied by the correct occupant!  I flew to Washington National Airport, when in fact I was booked for Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.  Upon arrival and discovering I was not where I should have been, I calmly (NOT) switched gears and took the train to my correct destination location.  Miraculously, I made it on time that day for the pre-training welcome reception that evening!   Whew…what a day!!!!
What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done?
I snow skied the highest peak/most difficult slope in Breckenridge, CO.
What’s your secret skill?
General Contractor skills; possessing the ability to perform Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Drywall work, etc.
