What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done?

In high school, I played lead guitar in a metal concert for our elementary school. I have never felt more alive than watching a bunch of 3rd graders headbanging to metal music and having a great time.

If you were a laminate, which would you be, and why?
I would probably be a blocklite multi-ply laminate, because I like to play cards and don’t want anybody to see through the back side. I am also not very flashy and multi-ply laminates are typically plain and serve a purpose.
What’s your best travel story?

I took my girlfriend to meet part of my family from Kentucky, and we both got really bad food poisoning from the hotel breakfast. Once we got back to Indiana, we were so sick and dehydrated that we almost died. It must have been a real bonding moment because she is now my wife, and I wouldn’t change that for the world.

If you were an animal, which would you be, and why?
I would be a highland cow, just relaxing in a meadow, eating grass and minding my own business. Maybe it would be boring for some people, but that sounds like a good life to me!
What’s your secret skill?

I am a multi-instrumentalist and can play almost anything. My favorite is guitar, but I also enjoy banjo, piano, ukulele, drums, saxophone, flute and a lot more. The funny part is  that I’ve never learned how to read music.
